Getting There: NOT Half the Fun

One of Gary's favorite phrases is, "Are we there yet?" He says it when we're traveling; when we're with our parents; in awkward situations; in short, he says it whenever the occasion feels right.
And from time to time, I find myself saying it, too. Like right now.
It is so not Oscar Night at my house...

Huh?

I'm having a "procedure" tomorrow that involves something called "MoviPrep." Lemme just say MoviPrep ain't popcorn and Junior Mints... I'll let you do the "independent research" to find out what it is, should you be so moved (right there, that's a hint...).

I'm halfway there at this point.

My impression thus far? Getting there: NOT half the fun.
